Used in conjunction with the two sets of included ultra-wide field stereo eyepieces 10x and 20x power, along with a .5x auxiliary objective, you can achieve a zoom magnification range of 4x through 80x right out of the box. With the included .5x auxiliary objective, you increase the working distance to 145mm and dramatically increase the field of view so you can see more of the specimen. This is a professional grade boom stand that is designed to be completely stable even when extended to its outer range. The 10 x 9.5 inch base piece alone weighs over 24 pounds and is stable as a rock. This stereo microscope also has ergonomic features to make your microscope viewing as comfortable as possible.
